I have connected a 2nd router (Archer C2 v.3) to my main router in order to extend my network to another floor.
(I disabled DHCP on 2nd, forced and IP to the 2nd out of the DHCP pool of the 1st etc.)
Everything is working fine:
1) I can't see my whole network connecting throught the 2nd router's wifi or ethernet (all PC visible, my NAS visible etc.)
2) I have internet access
BUT
The second router things it's not connected to the internet. I am not sure what limitations I might face in the future but there was one thing I faced right away.
I tried to check for firmware update throught "system tools" and I got the an error that ti was not possible because the router is not connected to the internet.
Please see attached screenshots.
Is there something I might have forgot to set ?

Sorry if I could point it out correctly yet: While set up in the above noted app notes the most annoying stuff remaining is that the VR600v could NOT connect to internet to recover the current time after loosing it. This boycotts every WLAN time scheduling.
All other WLAN members could access www as expected.
