Hello TP-Link Team,

we are using a M7350 in our authority in a pilot project as an Internet AP. From our point of view it is the best product regarding functionality in combination with a very good price/performance ratio compared to competitors .

But we are missing the Whitelist feature based on MAC-filtering to allow access only for known devices. The menu does provide a Blacklist, but it is useless unless the MAC-Adress of an unwanted user is known. And we would have to provide the password to the users what is not in our interest. Whitelist would make it a lot easier for our administrators and improves security of your devices when displaying the WiFi password on the screen.

Best regards
Arne

@isagumus1

Hello, the M7350 supports blacklist only now.

You can customize the wireless settings to allow specific devices access internet only.

@a-g

I would like to assign a static IP to a device using the device MAC address.

This is Whitelisting.

How do I go about doing this?

@a-g mac filtering is also greatly desired here. white listing seems to be both practical and introduces the admin contol for who really uses Your network. Please, please, please provide this (?basic?) functionality.

please, please, please
