Has anyone with a VR2800 managed to get the DDNS working with No-IP?

My VR2800 is the only device on my network that simply will not work with DDNS. I have decided to stick with my Sky Q modem/router for my VDSL side and use the VR2800 as my wireless/DHCP device.

I'm thinking the VR2800 is overkill for what I need. Anyone have any recommendations for a wireless AC router that can use DD-WRT firmware?
