AC600 Archer 2TU v2 - Doesn't see 5ghz

Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version : What came on disc
ISP : BT
Hello,
I bought this adapter and it doesn't see the 5ghz channels. Selecting channel 36 on router and #9 country region enables 5ghz to be seen, but there's no internet connection.
I noticed there's no updated drivers for this adapter, so was wondering what am I supposed to do?
