Hi all,

Is it possible at all to downgrade firmware on the Archer VR2800?

I am currently running 0.3.0 0.9.1 v006c.0 Build 170809 Rel.42095n which I believe was not released to the UK.

I would like to run an official UK firmware Archer_VR2800v1_0.2.0_0.9.1_up_boot(170110)_2017-01-10_09.39.11.bin

When I try this I get the following message - Error code: 4503 The uploaded file was not accepted.

Same here but from Greece. Even though i also think the firmware was intended for AU, it still gave me the option to upgrade resulting in lower sync speeds.

Need to downgrade as well

Looks like TP-Link do not allow to downgrade firmware even if the newer firmware has bugs.

I have a funny feeling my Archer VR2800 will break soon so I can get a refund and go back to Netgear ;-)

170809 is EU version firmware, same as 170110. What's wrong with the 170809 firmware?
I heard that new firmware is coming soon
