Hi I have a 2 week old VR600v2 that seems to be working fine, I have not set and special restrictions or parental controls but I'm finding the though the router is connected to the internet it and if I look at what wireless signals are being given out (with an app on my phone) both 2.4 and 5ghz are being transmitted the VR600 isnotissuing any ipaddresses to the clients. Interestingly some clients seem ok.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Some ok and some not ok? Really interesting.
Why not setting a static ip for those clients?

All clients are mobile (laptops/Phones).
If the laptop tries to reconnect (after being off) it never gets an IP address
However if a phone is constantly on, it carries on working OK.

Not really sure what you mean. If you connected but received no IP, try ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew in CMD maybe useful.

Hi Sorry If I wasn't clear.
The router seems to be working and any WIRED connections are OK.
Some Wifi Clients are OK.
But some (e.g. A Phone) that has been out of range and then come back into range, requests an IP but is never issued one by the Router.
Forgetting the connection and then reestablishing it gets the same result, the Password for the network is good, but the router never gives an IP.
Switch the Router OFF, then back on again, and it all works as it should.

Unbelievable. So you should reboot the router if any wifi clients go out of range and back otherwise those clients never get an ip?
Sounds a bug in the firmware? Maybe you should email their support to report this.
Before this issue saved, i recommend you to set all clients as static ip as a temporary solution. As you see, they do not get ip, so we allocate one for them.
