Parental control is only effective to websites and it can't control apps.
So check whether whatsapp website is still working when bedtime is active.
Clean the history of the web browser before you check.

Why is it that bedtime only blocks websites? My kids have smartphones and I want to Block internet access so they cant use there apps anymore.Apps like WhatsApp etc.Some other apps like snapchat or youtube do stop working when bedtime is active.

My bad, my C3150 is with V1 version. It can only block websites.
It seems C3150 v2 can block all the internet.
