VR400 not auto-reconnecting?
Model :
Hardware Version :

Hi,
I have the TP-Link Archer VR400 router attached to Sky’sVDSL2 offering.
I find that my connection frequently drops, presumablybecause Sky is doing some work on the line or the cabinet, but the routerdoesn’t seem to automatically reconnect. If I reboot the router, all is fine.If I manually choose “Connect” in the settings, all is fine.
Is there a setting that needs to be changed that will forcethe router to reconnect and KEEP TRYING to reconnect? The original Sky routerdoes this, and since I’m often not there during the day I rely on theconnection for CCTV monitoring which obviously can’t work until I physicallyget there and log back onto the router to make it reconnect.
Thanks in advance for any help. In the meantime, I have nochoice but to revert to the Sky router which kinda sucks!
