TL-WR841n v9.3 - PPPoE not auto reconnecting
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have installed:
TL-WR841N v9.3
3.16.9 BUILD 141013
ISP: PCCW (Hong Kong), Netvigator ADSL service
Using PPPoE wired to DB180 ADSL modem. It replaced an old B*ff*lo N150 router.
I am witnessing an issue where the router does not seem to automatically reconnect occasionally. Rebooting the router fixes the problem.
I've tried using 'Connect Automatically'
and now using
'WAN connection mode: Connect on Demand'
Max Idle time: 0
Looking at the PPPoE Advanced settings, can anyone tell me what is the purpose of the following setting and how does it work?
Would it help solve my reconnection issue ?
Detect online interval: 0 Seconds (0 ~ 120 seconds, the default is 0, 0 means not detecting.)
The Help pane quotes:
Detect Online Interval - The default value is 0, you can input the value between 0 and 120. The Router will detect Access Concentrator online every interval seconds. If the value is 0, it means not detecting.
