Hello, I own Archer AX53 V1. I also updated with the latest official firmware available V1_1.2.4 Build 20240509.

 

Could you please release new firmware update that support DNS Over TLS & DNS Over HTTPS (DoH & DoT).

Those features are really important nowadays to enhance security and privacy.

 

Please pass it along to the development team and put this at a Top priority possible.

Thanks for making this thread. With OpenVPN and EasyMesh support added in the 1.3.1 Pre-release Firmware (which btw runs stable and fast) DoH & DoT is pretty much the only feature missing from AX53. Considering the protocol was adopted by virtually all major operating systems at roughly the time of release of AX53 this feature should be implemented.
DoH/DoT support was added to AX55 last year I don't see a reason why can't it work on AX53 too.

I contacted the Support like you suggested in the other thread. ISP I'm using has 2.5 million active users and they sell AX53 directly on their website. Needless to say this router is extremely popular and sells like hot pancakes. So I hope we will get support for DoH and DoT soon.
