Model: Archer C1200
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

We have had Onestream fibre for a year, and have recently got ourselves a new router, the Archer AC1200.

I can't seem to get this connected to the internet. i am able to access therouter though. I thought to copy the MAC settings from the previous router but unfortunately I have lost the login for the old router as it was saved in my passwords and I've saved over that with the new one. I don't want to restore factory setting on that one just yet as it's still a reliable connection we need.

Anyone have any advice?

  @fogroach

Usually the MAC address of the router is printed on its bottom sticker. Check your old router bottom sticker for its MAC address.

  Hi @fogroach ,

Thanks for the suggestions from  @terziyski .

The MAC address on the bottom label is the LAN MAC address. To get the WAN MAC addrss, you need to add 1 to the last digit of that MAC address.

  @Sunshine

Thanks all.

Perhaps I'm getting mixed up with what's required. When I see the connection on the TP-Link router site, I am connected to the router but not the internet, and the IP details for the internet are all 0 or blank.

I will provide more details when I try to connect again later.
