Note:
1. Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
2. It is recommended that all Decos in the network be upgraded to beta firmware.
3. Please also check whether there is a firmware update for the Tapo device in the Tapo APP. If so, please update the Tapo device to the latest firmware.
4. How to update the satellite Deco units:
When the satellite Decos are offline, they may not be successfully upgraded through the Web UI. In this case, it is recommended to upgrade according to the following steps:
- Please temporarily power off most of the smart home devices and wait for the satellite Deco come back online.
- Once all the satellite Deco units are confirmed online, try upgrading to the beta firmware again through the Web UI.
-If the main Deco and satellite Deco units are on different models, you could also update the satellite units individually through its IP address.
- After ensuring that all Deco units have been successfully upgraded, power on the Tapo devices again and observe if the issue is resolved.

Hi, Thank you very much for sharing with us. I do appreciate users try to share what they have found about the Deco Mesh system.
Currently, the engineer is trying to optimize the APP management experience so they launched a new beta APP test. I think it would be the right time to check whether there is any glitches when Deco APP tried to deliver the required setting to the Deco hardware.
It would be highly appreciated if you could try to install the beta APP here and share the feedback:
Deco APP 3.8.36 --- Greatly Optimized Network Management Experience
Thanks again and best regards.

Hi,
Does new beta version of Deco x50 v1.2 firmware also have this fix for this particular problem or do I need to choose fix this problem or stay in 1.2 beta?
Thanks!

Only master Deco P9 is online in the APP after updating firmware to latest beta. Updating APP to the latest beta doesn't fix the situation.

Same, my P9. The main one only works in app. Others appear offline.
Updated to beta on the app and made no difference.
Is there an even newer firmware yet, to even try to fix this ?
I'm 100% sure my actual network is suffering. I took one P9 off to try and reconnect but that won't even join again now.

I've managed to reconnect P9 slave device to the network with beta firmware installed using the following procedure:
1. Reset slave device.
2. Create new network in Deco app using this slave device as master.
3. Login in to the master device of the newly created network using browser and its IP address.
4. Downgrade the master device to the latest non beta firmware through the browser.
5. Reset it.
6. Now you can add the device to the network with master on beta firmware. Newly added device will be even shown online in the App.
