I was wondering why the specifications for the Deco BE65 changed from BE11000 to BE9300 in Europe.

Previously it has 4320Mbps on 5Ghz and now only 2880Mbps.

What's the reason for this? I can't imagine that there ist a hardware difference. Only could imagine this for regulatory reasons in Europe.

Could anyone explain it?

Hi, Thank you very much for your feedback.

You are right and BE9300(EU) is due to the wireless regulatory reasons in Europe.

For the US version. the wireless specification is 11 Gbps Tri-Band WiFi – 5760 Mbps (6 GHz) + 4320 Mbps (5 GHz) + 574 Mbps (2.4 GHz).

For the EU version. the wireless specification is 9214 Mbps Tri-Band WiFi – 5760 Mbps (6 GHz) + 2880 Mbps (5 GHz) + 574 Mbps (2.4 GHz).

The EU version doesn't support 240MHz over 5GHz so its 5GHz data rate is up to 1441m/s(160MHz). Since it supports 2*2 MIMO, the final 5G rate is up to 1441m/s*2.

And the US version is 2162m/s(240MHz)*2.

Then I will have to go with the BE85 to get more speed on 5GHz as it supports 4×4 MU-MIMO.
