Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade my mother-inlaws current wireless network with an RE450 and an Archer 55 Pro that I have that are no longer needed now that I've moved my network across to Omada based routers and AP's.

Question I have; the backhaul between the RE450 and the Archer 55 Pro, is it a dedicated link or shared? See badly drawn image below:

Ideally, I'm hoping it is option one with a dedicate wireless channel that handles the data between the RE450 and the Archer 55 Pro, with another link that goes from the RE450 to the devices.

The communication between AX55 Pro and RE450 is more like this:

If your RE450 in HW v4 you could configure EasyMesh between the AX55 Pro and RE450.

If this was helpful click on the arrow pointing upward to make it blue. If this solves your issue, click the star to make it blue and mark the post as a "Recommended Solution".

@terziyski Thank you! I looked  at my image when I posted and knew it was wrong and was about to fix it when your post came through.

The information is exactly what I needed to know; seperate wireless backhaul channel; this should help my mother inlaw is able to stream movies properly now.

Thank you.
