X50 outdoor offline
X50 outdoor offline
Hello.
X50 outdoors keeps going offline right and left.
this issue is going for months.
we had this issue with version 1.0.1 then updated to 1.2.1 then same issue then you removed this version and no new firmware. the only available is 1.0.1...
the worst part is that you don't have a post pinned, acknowledge this issue and give a time frame or an update.
i have at least 20 x50 outdoors installed and all possible combinations (poe, powerline, wireless, as a base, as a node, as an access point, with versions 1.0.1 and 1.2.1) all same issue of disconnecting, others showing disconnected but they are working and others showing disconnected and they are actually disconnected.
waiting for an update and a solution
thank you

Hi, Nice to see you again.
It might be my fault and there is indeed a post about the offline issue on Deco X50-Outdoor after firmware 1.2.1, But I unpinned it a few days ago.
You could refer to this link to check whether the beta firmware helps with your current issue:
Deco X50-Outdoor Won't Reliably Connect to the Mesh after 1.2.1 Firmware Upgrade
Thank you very much and best regards.

@akapal My X50 Outdoor always goes offline after a few days. I have no idea what that is. The reception is good. However, it is only displayed as offline in the app. It works.

Ditto. My x50-Outdoor keeps going offline.
The green light is on, but the X50 is offline in the Deco app.
Firmware version is 1.0.1

Sorry for the additional post ... all five of my Deco's are hardwired via a gigabit network. Thanks.

As stated, I entered a Vlan ID in the switch for the guest network. This is what I am observing now. Let's see if it helps.

For me it is the only and last one in the link with WiFi access. Everyone else has LAN access. In another topic it was mentioned that the guest access would be to blame if you have a managed switch in between. For me it was only displayed offline, but in reality it was online and the devices on it were then incorrectly displayed in the LAN on the main deco.

I upgraded the X50 firmware to 1.2.0 awhile ago, and the x50 has stayed on line. Note - my X50 is hardwired.
