Configuring Vdsl on Archer V600
Hello,
I've been using the router with the adsl so far, tomorrow I have to switch to vdsl fttc. I was looking at the control panel and, despite being compatible, I can't see any option of my IPS in the dropdown menu.
Any ideas on how to solve this?
Thanks

Is it still VDSL connection or ethernet connection?
If it is still connected by VDSL line, you can configure it as the normal VDSL modem router. And the you can choose other for ISP, it does not matter.
If it is connected by wired cable, please connect the LAN cable to the LAN4/WAN port of Archer VR600 and log into the web UI to change the operation mode to wireless router mode.

I'm not sure what you mean?
It is a vdls connection, I need it to be a modem so not in wireless router mode.
My problem is that during the initial configuration I can only select ADSL connections and vdsl doesn't appear

DSL Modem router mode is what you want for things to work together,
Whose your ISP?
I gather that the auto set up settings in set up aren't showing your ISP in VDSL state?
Easiest way round that is to hook up your old router and hope it's set itself up for the new faster VDSL and grab the settings from that and add them to the VR600 manually, simply skip through set up until it says Finish and then add the numbers and #'s to it, these will be in the advanced tab under Network -> Internet -> Modify
Then Network -> DSL Settings and select the correct Annex etc settings,
All these should be visible on your old router to copy over as long as the old router has updated itself, your ISP may have done this automatically remotely, if not they should be on any new router they've sent you assuming they've sent you a new one as part of your upgrade, hth.

It is TIM in Italy. I had adsl until yesterday, vdsl from today.
VDSL was not showing in the dropdown menu despite having the vdsl line. I have restored it to factory settings and after doing so it worked. Thanks all
