Hi,

Question...

What will be better Deco x60 in router mode or the X11000 router with possible onemesh system if the wifi range is not enough

Cannot find that much review of both systems!

Hope somebody can point me in the right direction :)

Greetings...

@Lars86 It depends on the size and distribution of the house. Usually don't expect much signal after crossing three walls from a single access point.

OneMesh is still limited (no wired backhaul, impossible to form a mesh between two routers, delayed supporting firmwares in EU models, etc.) but of course it's an option if you just need signal for a couple more walls.

I wish Deco and OneMesh were compatible and had a better set of features like competitors which allow to make a mesh with almost any device both wired and wirelessly.

@mocelet

Hi Thanks for the reply!

size of the house is not that big! first floor and a attic... had a netgear r6300 before and the 5g wifi was poor at the first floor...

i am testing the deco x60 at the moment and its working fine but thinking i get more features / options and more speed with the x11000 router!

if deco was compatible with the router would be perfect! then you can extend with for example 1 deco at wired backhaul and got perfect covarge everywhere!

Think i am going to order the x11000 router and test the difference and make a choice! :)

@Lars86

Thanks for your reply.

The Deco mesh and Onemesh network are not compatible with each other now.

You can order an AX11000 and test the performance and make a choice, before that, please confirm the warranty policy with the retailer, so that you can return it for free within a certain time of period.
