Model: Deco E4
Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version:

I want to make sure before purchasing more deco e4.

Will this kind of setup work?

Case 1

MODEM  > ROUTER (DHCP) > Main DECO E4 (AP MODE)  > Slave DECO E4 (AP MODE)

                                                 > Slave DECO E4 (AP MODE)  >  Slave DECO E4 (AP MODE)

Case 2

MODEM  > ROUTER (DHCP) > Main DECO E4 (AP MODE)  > Slave DECO E4 (AP MODE)

                                                 > Main DECO E4 (AP MODE)  >  Slave DECO E4 (AP MODE)

                                                     (separated network)

I need my router because Deco dont have bandwidth limit/control features.

@Peter87

Hello, it will work.

For case 1, you only need configure one of them as the main Deco and add the other three units; then switch them to access point mode.

For case 2, you need create a new network after you finished the configuration of the first two Decos so that you can create a separated network.

May it help.
