@JohnGhost If you think that the router UPnP feature doesn't work as expected in your particular case, you can always configure a port-forwarding (virtual server) and disable UPnP to mitigate this.

@Scotsand If you use to power the AP a passive PoE injector over a long ethernet cable, try powering up the AP with the power adapter included and check if there's a difference.
