Many thanks.

Hi, I think this firmware version added the VPN server/client.

Did you set the Deco XE75 Pro to wireless router mode? Can I have a screenshot of the page on the Deco APP>More?

By the way, what is the current internet connection type under Deco APP>More> Internet Connection?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

David, many thanks.

The router has been setup in WI-FI router mode with dynamic IP for the internet connection type. I configured the OpenVPN server with the VPN server address. However, I was not able to connect my VPN server from outside. The VPN port kept closed even though I had changed to any others from the default.

Best regards.

Hi, I think you can check the IPV4 address on the Deco XE75 Pro.

It is very likely that it is a private local reversed IP address, and there is one more firewall/NAT protection out of Deco.

(You can find your current public IP address here:https://whatismyipaddress.com/)

If you plan to connect to the VPN server on Deco, you might need to set port-forwarding rules on the front router.

Thank you very much and best regards.
