  @trakman

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

Have you tried to replace the Ethernet cable between the modem and the main Deco BE65?

Later, I'd like to follow up on your case via email. Could you please update the email with a copy of the web UI system log?

Deco web interface login

By the way, when Deco APP> "Test internet speed" reported "95 Mbps download/upload", how about the speed test on the devices themselves? Are they also capped at 100Mbps?

---Would there also be an error message on the Deco APP, such as "Abnormal WAN Connection Speed......"?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

I also notice my 2 x satellites plus the main/base station status lights are intermittently flashing red, then green, then red, then green

so all units keep randomly dropping then coming back
lots and lots of instability

yes I did swap to brand new ethernet cables, and no difference.

I have switched from IPoE over to PPPoE (my ISP offers both)

and this seems to have fixed it

they are recommend I change the MTU to 1500 as I'm on 4000/4000 conn. speed and unfortunately for PPPoE it only has a maximum upper limit of 1492, could you guys bump the maximum MTU for pppoe to allow 1500 setting please?

it would be less fragmentation and faster speed

Hi, Thanks for the update.

Do you mean that after changing the connection type from "Dynamic IP" to "PPPoE", the internet speed is back to the expected 2.33 Gbps download/upload?

By the way, may I know who your internet service provider is?

I remember the default MTU size used by Deco is 1500. You can refer to this picture to check whether you can see the option to edit MTU size on the Deco APP:

Click the Internet Connection "PPPoE" and on the next page:

Wait for your reply and best regards.

Hi, Thanks for your time and patience.

I did some Google search and found that, with PPPoE connections, the PPP header increases the frame size by 8 bytes, so It should almost always be no more than 1492 for PPPoE.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/bbdsl/configuration/xe-16/bba-xe-16-book/bba-ppp-mx-payld-xe.pdf

Best regards.
