Model: Archer AX55 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi,

I have a setup of EasyMesh composed from AX73 (main router) and AX55 Pro (satelite through ethernet backhaul, cable is connected to port LAN3).
AX55 Pro has 1x 2,5Gb port which might be used as WAN or LAN depending from needs and setup.

How to setup this port to be wokring as 2,5Gb LAN while in EasyMesh I have an access only to main router setup environment?

I wan't to connect my NAS to 2,5Gb port in AX55 however at the moment port seems to be not working when any device is connected. I tried NAS and 2 laptops, none of them had conection through this port. 2,5Gb port was also not working when I was establishing ethernet backhaul EasyMEsh, therefore I use LAN3 to communicate with main router.

Thanks in advance for any hints.

  @woozle
thank you for reply.
Before installing beta firmware I need to ask - will beta firmware help and solve my issue? I have mesh ethernet backhaul with 1Gb LAN port and it works fine for me as AX73 (main router) has only 1Gb LAN ports so I can't physically make 2,5Gb ethernet backhaul EasyMesh.

I wan't to connect NAS to 2,5Gb LAN port to utilize higher speed when few users are using NAS smae time, not to create ethernet backhaul mentioned in solution you provided. Will beta firmware solve my case as well?

I don't own an Archer AX55 Pro and hence cannot test it for you.

The way I understand it is that the regular firmware has a bug that causes the 2.5 Gb Ethernet port to be deactivated when the router is switched to Satellite mode. The beta firmware fixes this and keeps the 2.5 Gb Ethernet port active in Satellite mode.
