Model: Tapo C310
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.3.11

Hi, I have 3 camera's at the house. 1 inside and 2 outside. All different models.I have only a problem with the C310 V2.This is my second C310. I returned the first C310 because I thought it had broken soft or hardware. It turns out this second one has exact the same problem despite having it connected to a ethernet cable this time (The first one I had only connected to wifi). The problem is when I check my camera in the morning it disconnected sometime at night.I unpug it and plug it again and then it starts working again througout the day when the sun is up.Then somewhere in the middle of the night when it's dark it disconnects again. This everyday again.Unplug and plug in the every single morning.I tried deleting and installing again,I tried the button on the camera.I tried everything I know.My instincts tell me there's something wrong with the firmware update.

I tried looking up how to downgrade the firmware.

Please help me 'cause it's frustrating the hell out of me.

Thanks

Cheers

Dave

Hi,
It's hard to say if the problem on the firmware of the Tapo C310 V1 from the problem phenomenon. Please check:
  1. Please describe your network diagram in detail. Is the Tapo C310 connected to your router by an ethernet cable to go to the internet?
  2. Go to the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Reboot Camera page, enable the Auto Reboot feature, set a Reboot Time(such as 5:00 AM -5:30 AM), and then you can check if it will help.
