Hello,

I have a Omada ER605 and an AX 72 router.

I would like ER605 to work as the main router, but also need AX72 to work in Router mode, for the EasyMesh capabilities (so far, I have not seen EasyMesh being available in AP mode yet).

The problem is that when I connect ER605 LAN to AX72 WAN, the router changes ip from 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.1.1 and as such, everything connected to the router gets an 192.168.1.x IP address.

In ER605 I have given AX72 192.168.0.2 IP, and disabled DHCP on AX72, but I am still having this issue where it either changes IP, or no connected devices have internet.

I realize this is a newbie question, but I cannot seem to find any proper instructions on how to set this up on the AX72, to work as expected.

Has anybody been able to configure this?

  @Madalinbv Im using er605 +(ax23+ax23+c64 (onemesh))

Do like i did: and everything will work:

 ENABLE DHCP on AX72 .

ON ax72 web interface just set get WAN ip automatically so your AX72 will get WAN IP 192.168.6.2

PS If you wish add ax72 to Address Reservation.

@YuriyB  Thank you for your update. Can you confirm that with these settings you have the routers set in Router Mode, not AP, and all devices connected to wifi use the ER605 for DHCP and get an 192.168.6.x IP? Also, just to confirm, you have DHCP on on both er605 and ax23, just different ip addresses to allocate?

  @Madalinbv  Router Mode

all devices connected to ax72 will get ax72 dhcp IPs, not ER605 and not 192.168.6.X

... just different ip addresses to allocate? YES
