Hey TP-LINK !!

When i setup my Google Chromecast in Connection Preference to always keep connected to Lounge Deco but why my Google Chromecast connected to Bedroom Deco and i have also reboot the all Deco Units and Chromecast too and still same issue not only with Chromecast im facing this issue with many devices at home such as IP Cams, AC, Smart Phones etc.

Hi,

Please check if you’re too far away from the Deco you choose when the issue happens.

Being too far away can cause an unstable connection to this Deco unit.

Also, you can disconnect from Wi-Fi and then reconnect right next to that Deco. And check if it can connect to this certain unit.

@Sunshine See why my AC is connected on 2nd Floor Deco when i force it to connect to Bedroom Deco......Why Connection Preference is not working properly in AP Mode. @David-TP
