@ChrisBS I have the EU BE550v1 (in UK) and its the one with the 5x2.5Gbps ports. Still don't get the branding though as it says both BE550 and BE9300 on the box and router, anyway I suppose it doesn't matter.
Thats me on the masqurading 1.0.10 (1.0.5) and all seemed to go smoother with this firmware flash. All devices connected fine and so is the AX73 as a mesh satelite. Can't do much testing just now as kids are on the PS5 and Amazon tablets. Not that I had a problem before with my download speed but just did a test on fast.com and got 890Mbs from my 900Mbs fibre. I'll do some Wi-Fi- testing later.
Only problem I see is that red update button thats appeared right next to the Log out on the router menu. I chose to skip it so it realy should be gone from view and only come back if I search for it.
By the way I got 1.0.9 thanks, I'll see how this goes second time around.

@ChrisBS Im still surprised you have two of these. I replaced my ISP router/modem with the BE550 as my main router and had a AX73 spare that I set up as a mesh satelite. I thought this was overkill for my three bedroom detached house and my Wi-Fi signal dominates the area when I check through an Android signal analizer.
My problem is I have no Wi-Fi 7 devices and only one device that uses Wi-fi 6E and thats my partners Samsung S23, my testing is limited.
I still see in the router menu for network check, Wi-Fi Interference scanner still spins endlessly. Can't say I've ever seen that option work yet.

I had before 2xAX55 and 5GHz/2,4Ghz signal its stronger than on 2x BE550 on same place. But when i back to home i will try install again that beta firmware and test it.

Hello, I do 3rd approach to upgrade my 2xBE550v1 and finally worked on my main BE550v1 ( i had to reset all to factory settings before upgrade other way device was unstable and no internet)
But don't work my second BE550v1 as easy-mesh satellite :( after upgrading to the newest beta)
Main BE550v1 can't detect easy-mesh BE550v1 as a satellite. Satellite Router all the time restart to factory settings when i choose mode "easymesh satellite"
After flashback to other firmware same happen.
Btw. I also tested the AX55 as a satellite easy-mesh and the main BE550v1 detected it with no problem. ( but cant detect Ethernet back haul easymesh anymore)
Edit: I FIX IT But i had to back to 1.0.9 Build 20240429 rel.749 firmware on both devices and satellite device i had to flash and recover few times + do a hard rest every time

@ChrisBS Good to hear you managed to revert back to 1.0.9. I'm still a little puzzled why it takes so many flash attempts and hard resets for you, be careful you don't corrupt the firmware and brick the router. I've never had to restore factory settings yet on the BE550, for my AX73 I did the first time but that was to set up the easy mesh and after that everything connects as expected. For the sake of testing I would've left the 1.0.10 on the main BE550 and used your AX55 as the satellite then took things from there over the course of a few days.
How is your satellite BE550 connected in easy mesh, you mentioned Ethernet or is it Wi-Fi? Also I take it you have replaced your ISP router/modem with the BE550?

I was afraid too that that never happened before to me. I spent all night fighting and wasting my sleep to revert that.
So I try sum all up now the 1.0.10 firmware for BE550v1 EU:
- Before installation on the main router, I have to reset the router to factory settings on the main router to make the 1.0.10 firmware work stable after installation on my Device. And backing up own configuration in the end.
- On the main router, BE550v1, the Ethernet back-haul does not work on 1.0.10 beta firmware (at least for me). Work only Easy-mesh WIFI when I test with AX55 (satellite).
- When I install the 1.0.10 firmware on BE550v1 (satellite), easy-mesh mode does not work via Easy-mesh WiFi or Ethernet Back-haul. Also router restart to factory settings instead go to Easy-mesh mode satellite ( every time when i try active it). Flashing it back to other firmware won't help either. And the problem repeats itself on other firmware after.
To fix it:
I need flash back to other firmware, after do backup the configuration from my Main router (BE550v1) and then back to the old beta firmware 1.0.9 Build 20240429. Do factory reset again and after Easy-mesh satellite mode on BE550v1 started working again. As should be in first place.
WE need so much WEBUI for satellite device for BE550 !! TO SAVE CONFIG THERE! Like on AX55 router.
And will be nice to be able update firmware manual from main router to satellite router not only automatic option.

@ChrisBS That's quite a lengthy process, I hope you don't have a defective router and it's been that all along. There is an awful lot of factory resets going on considering we have the same router, luckily all has gone according to plan for me. I think from now on I will always update the firmware via PC download. With the limited testing I have done on this 1.0.10 it's actually been pretty good for me, only thing I have noticed still not working is the Network analyzer in the menu spins endlessly but I can't say I've ever seen it working. I wish I had a Wi-F7 device to test though or even a second Wi-Fi6E device.
I did have a problem with my Wi-Fi calling not working on my iPhone 14 and thought it was maybe due to the router but doing some research I found as I'm also beta testing iOS 18 I needed to reset the network settings on the phone then restart it. This seems to have fixed it so far, so all good.
It would be nice if there was some release notes accompanying the beta 1.0.10, just for casual reading. Maybe I missed them but would be nice even if it is a beta.
I know a general amount if networking but not a great deal, if you need me to do any comparison test for you while on this firmware just let me know. Hopefully a tech advisor from TP-Link will enter the thread and give some advice for you but it does seem rather empty.

What easymesh connection you use with BE550 (main) + AX73(satellite)? Ethernet backhaul or by WiFi?

@ChrisBS I have it connected Wi-Fi but would look at using an Ethernet in the near future. I was trialing different areas for the AX73 as I found it's Wi-Fi pretty good with it being put in the farthest corner of the house.
I sometimes found when it got a device connected it would be hard for it to move back to the main BE550.
