After rolling back the firmware in the router and reconnecting the network extender, everything works stably for many days. Thus, we can conclude that the beta firmware offered here has a problem that causes the C86 router to freeze when working in tandem with the RE220 network extender as an EasyMesh satellite. Please investigate the problem and fix it. Thanks in advance.

@NickolaZ Thank you very much for your thorough testing.
I've reported this feedback to our engineering team for further investigation. Please stay with the older 1.13.4 version as a workaround and wait for new firmware or updates.

Hi @Marvin_S,
I must admit I was a bit nervous about a one way upgrade just in case it made matters worse.
I can however confirm that this has resolved the issues. I removed the SKY router installed the upgraded TP_Link Archer and didn't even need to initially configure anything like last time. I have checked that I can cast to spotify on the TV and also tried to setup a google home device and all worked without issue.
Fantastic news as this has nopw enabled me to remove the sky router from the setup as I originally intended.
Kind Regards
Danny
