Hallo, I am trying to set a powerline up to my garage. The sockets are all connected via the same fuseboard however the garage has separate earthing arrangments through a ground rod earth.

I have tried the PL1000v2 and that doesn't work. I think some of these need all three wires and that is maybe why it is not working.

Can anyone advise on, possibly an older model, which maybe works through live and neutral only?

  @Thurstan

Hi,

Your powerline devices cannot work ground wire. That is why it is not working. It needs to work with live and neutral wires.
