Yes, it's not advertised or made clear anywhere so an unwelcome surprise when I had finally set up everything and started using it. Considering how wireguard has been around for a while even if it's been something relatively recently developed in VPN technology you would expect support for it given the price of what we pay for TP Link products IMO. It's so much faster and effective than the other options I would definitely have activated it on my router so all devices are supported with the protection of VPNs.

Agreed. It's terribly slow and not necessarily the fault of the VPN provider or TP link. The technology just doesn't provide ample speed for the daily use of people. 

Wireguard is the future. 

Is there any traction on the request? I would love to have wireguard support on XE75

I'm hopeful TP-Link developers will do it because this feature has been brought to other routers in the TP-Link catalogue. 

Bringing this feature will enhance their lineup. There's little point buying mid to upper range without some of the advanced features to sweeten the deal. It's not always about beating the competition on the bottom line.
