My C210 worked fine with the free trial for the frist day, but stopped recording from 2nd day onwards. No history but live cams are working fine.

 

also, is the default to record everything even if there is no people? (Thats what i want)

Hi,
Please help confirm the following information about your issue.
1. Please check if there are any changes in your network, such as changing the router settings, blocking the camera's internet connection, or other changes.
2. Please check if rebooting the camera, rebooting the router, or changing the DNS server to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 on the router will solve the problem.
3. How many Tapo cameras do you have, and do they have the same issue at the same time? Do you have internet on your phone when connecting to the router when the problem happens?
4. Please describe your network diagram, such as the Internet--Wireless Router)))(((Tapo cameras, etc.

 

The Tapo Care only stores the detection video clips, if there is no event happening in front of the camera, no video clips will be uploaded to the cloud server.
If you want to store the video recording even if there is no event, it's suggested to insert a microSD card into the camera and set the recording schedule to continuously recordings all the time.

Note: the Tapo Care or store video recordings to an SD card does not require a person to watch the camera all the time, these features will work even if you close the Tapo app.
