Just how do I upgrade firmware?

I see web version, s/w utility etc. But not one single diagram of just where the software or browser resides

Does that require a laptop connected to the specific powerline adapter?

In that case - what about the adapter connected to the router? Do I pull it out, swap with another adapter connected to a laptop?

Here is the TL-PA7017 Firmware

Model numbers staring with ' TL-PA XX' is the wired powerline unit.

NVM& PIB is the firmware file for wired powerline units, firmware update via tpPLC Utility,please connect PC --wired powerline unit directly to update firmware.
