Deco m9 plus v2 update?

Hello, I would like to know if there will be a new update for this version. I bought this product thinking that I would solve my Internet connection problems, and I see that if it fulfills its function but has very limited functions and for the price it has I find that it does not meet the expectations, that is why I speak for many users who need to know if this version will have a new update since it has been many months and we have only received answers avoiding the subject.
Please we need to know if this version will have a new update and especially if you will have concisable improvements

On my app via Samsung Galaxy S9 plus, it says
Firmware up to date: 1.2.12 Build 20191014 Rel 42025
It's my understanding 200324 for V2 is the latest and I have NO idea what my version is or means!

There is no confusion really. V2 M9 plus has 1.4.0 update (200324 - March 24 2020) that can only be installed by the update utility on a computer - which only works currently on Mac or Windows Server and doesn’t work on Windows 10. The firmware can’t yet be updated to this version via the app and it will report the current firmware installed as the latest.

Hi, this version firmware for the Deco M9 Plus V2 currently can only be updated via the Upgrade Tool on a Windows or MAC computer, and it is not available on the Deco app.
It is suggested to follow the instructions we attached in the firmware download link to upload it.

Sorry for any trouble caused again. Do you have other computers like Windows 8 or MAC? If you only have Windows 10 computers, please wait and we will ask our engineers to help follow this case up.
But if you have already updated the firmware with other computers, we will soon check and see if there is an issue with the Upgrade Tool on the Windows 10.

Hello, this firmware we provided is only for Deco M9 Plus V2 and it is not for V1 or 1.4, please confirm again if the third Deco M9 is V1 but not V2.
If it is V1, you may check if there is any firmware update on the Deco app directly.

Ok now I'm really confused because several posts above specifically say the upgrade tool does NOT currently work with Windows 10, only Mac or a Windows Server.
Why does this have to be so complicated?
Did I seriously misunderstand the posts above?!

Whether there is an issue with Windows 10 or not still needs to be verified, so it is suggested to try to install the Upgrade Tool and upload the firmware on your computer first.
