I tried all the usb ports but the adapter isn't getting detected.
The model No. of the adaptor is TP-Link TL WN725N
I installed the provisional driver as per instructions but no luck.
In the list of supported devices, this adapter is not mentioned in the driver's read me txt.
I installed with the windows driver on one of my friend's windows desktop and the adapter is working there. So the issue must be w.r.t the driver only.
Thanks for any help provided.

Ok I found out why I couldn't find the beta driver. Because I live in the Netherlands the website automatically sends me to the Dutch version of the website. Even when using the link in the post from @Kevin_Z . Strangely enough the beta driver isn't posted on the Dutch version of the website.
So make sure you go to the bottom of the page click your location and choose the international website, English if you can't find the beta download.
And let's hope TP-Link posts the beta download to all versions of their website.
