Deco M9 Plus firmware release with similar features like M5 1.3.1
When will a firmware for the Deco M9 Plus be released which brings the same features like the M5 1.3.1 firmware to the Deco M9?

Hi got it from Kevin_Z in private message:
below is the download link: https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202001/20200108/Deco M9 Plus_V2_V1.2.12_add IPTV custom mode.zip The upgrading instruction has attached also.
Just check and the link still active.
I'm not sure what to do ..... keep this 1.2.12 without the features that I had and wait for a quick new firmware release, or downgrade to 1.2.12 .....
Can someone from TPLINK advice on this ?
Tks

I just purchased a 3 pack as well "Deco M9 V2" and so far no firmware update and seems no one has the upgrade tool so we can install the update manually. I tried chatting with support and the support reps acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. Very poor customer service and apparently false advertising on the deco m9 v2 and the p9 series mesh systems... missing 98 percent of the features advertised!! Hey TPLINK simply support your products lets get some firmware rolled out to make these systems useful!!!

I would honestly advice anyone against buying a TPLink product as it stabds. Product development and support is extremely slow.
For sny potential buyers, this actually has an effect on your personal environment. Also fairly unsafe as security issues takes ages to plug.

I agree. it's ridiculous to release a product with such minimal set of fetures.
no web landing page, can not understand which mesh point are you connected to, no debug tools to understand why the reception in the far corner of the house is so poor, no way to change the defualt gateway address, no dmz, no control on 2.4G and 5G channel usage, and so on.
I thought I'm buying the better product, when in fact it's the other way around. why on earth TP-Link can not update of the anticipated fw date release?
