Linked Deco Unavailable for current firmware
Everything working ok but I regularly see the above message on the device (galaxy s8) info pane on the deco app when the device is connected to the network. I've seen it connected to all 3 decos at various times so I don't think it's one deco not reporting correctly but other times I just see the above message
Is this a known issue?

All Deco models.
Issue Description/Phenomenon:
When you check the device settings on the Deco APP or try to find which Deco the device is connected to, you might see the following notice under "linked Deco",
Possible Solutions:
- Currently, except for Deco M3W, most of the other Deco models with their latest firmware version( like M9plus with 1.5.6/M5 with 1.5.7/M4 with 1.5.4) shouldn’t have this problem. So if you have M3W in the network, please wait for a while and this feature will be added along with the firmware upgrade.
- If there is no Deco M3W, please make sure the current firmware is up to date. like Deco M9 plus with 1.1.12, although APP said it is up to date, it is not and please refer to this link to update the firmware---How to update Deco M9 plus from firmware 1.2.12 Build 20191014 Rel. 42025
- After confirming the firmware is up to date, please comment below with the model number of this device and turn off the "Mesh technology" on the same page.
(You could also leave me a private message here with the model of this specific device.)
Please let me know if you have any further concerns.
Thank you.

Please verify the firmware version of each Deco units. Open Deco app, click on internet-tab each Deco and get the firmware on the bottom.
Besides, please show us a screenshot of the error message.
And does it affect the performance of the Deco network? Can you access internet with the error message pops up?

The s8 is shown as connected to one of the decos just now (it's been like that before then reverts to the unavailable messages above) but a quick check of the network shows the iPad is currently in the same situation. It works fine and shows in the main device list as connected but if I check each individual deco's connected devices it's not shown against any of them. I've also seen the same on a galaxy s9 and the iPad.
All 3 decos are showing 1.3.1 and there doesn't seem to be any problem with connectivity.
Edit
Just to add a look on the management pages at 192.168.68.1 shows the ipad below having a wired connection which is clearly wrong

When the error message pops up, can you get internet on your ipad or samsung S9?
If possible, try to ping the IP address of the ipad from a computer in the same network and show us the picture of the ping results.

The 3 devices I see problems with are a Galaxy S8 and S9. Both european models with Exynos processors
The third is an Ipad UK model
Yes as per origonal post the devices work just fine its just odd there are shown as wired when they are not. My S8 has shown as connected to all three deco's in the house at some point but often it gives the error above in the Deco app. At no point have I had any pop up message though
Ok so as of 5 mins ago my S8 was showing in the deco appwith the above error so pinging from a wired windows 10 machine

I am seeing the same error on some devices on my new M5 install.
Doesn't seem to affect connectivity of the devices in any way, and seems to be when the device has roamed from one mesh point to another.
Latest firmware.

I have the same issue, and I do have a problems with my slave decos, they often offline, and the weirdest part- the app shows there is no connected client to the main deco unit.
I have a set of 3 pack,
firmware 1.3.1 on each,
the main deco working in router mode,
this is my second set of m5 , the first one has not issues like that,

We are also seeing this message " Unavailable for current firmware" . All 3 M5 Decos's have the same firmware . This issue seems to occur when a device first connects to the network then roams to another AP. It is not limited to Android devices,Apple devices are also impacted. But my iPad roams happily and reports where it is connected. However, an iPhone is currently showing as " Unavailable for current firmware", yet this device is normally shown on the correct AP. Network connectivity is not impacted when this device location is not shown.
