@michaelbates perform a factory reset. Before you change ANY settings after the reset make sure your devices can connect with the default password number.

@Prash101 Think it has. I installed it before it was pulled. Works great for me but no settings changed apart from different band passwords, changing time server and connecting hard drive.

@Calmer locate the file on the tp link website, download and extract the bin file and manually upgrade via the router interface
