@Kong16 i use 3 macbooks on my network and in rare case they connect @ 2.4. Normally on 5.

@Kong16 Simple, NO. But, with Mesh and k/v/r 802.11 amendments and WI-SON from chipset don't make any sense use 5 apart from 2.4 Let's deco control this for you.

@MichaelT maybe you put M5 as router mode and QNAP still back of main m5. You try put QNAP into m5 ethernet port. How is your network topology?
