Tried to google the 802.1X. I think the TP-link cannot achieve your goal. They only support 802.11bgn... http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/?categoryid=&model=TL-WR841N#spec

Changing the channel to 6 and change the channel width to 40MHz and the encryption type to AES, can it help ?
