My response from Canadian Support was equally inadequate , when I asked why we didn't have V18xxxx Firmware like the American C7 V2 Router...

That is an IP Address not a Subnet...... the subnet is like 255-255-255-255 or 255-255-255-0 etc and it should be set under LAN to exactly the same as the Main Router . I set the IP address to one...

see my post above yours..... works on every Router I have ever had , but I don't own a C1200 though .... TP link Routers I've had don't have "Modes" like Linksys and others like eg Gateway/Router/AP...

It's because different countries have different laws on which bands/channels you can use and how strong the Antenna can be etc....and of course they change the PCB , chips etc each version too......

What Firmware is that you have on the C7 V4 ? number above doesn't look normal..... germany right ? from your comments...it seems 171101 is the latest from nov 1st 2017.......
