So is the USB HD can be detached by windows without any error? If it is not,maybe you need to check your USB HD.

Did you tried the Archer D7 firmware as those guys said in other posts? I read about those posts and find someone works but some not work. That's strange. I think TPLink may not solve this problem...

try telnet 192.168.1.1 80 to see if the web server dead if you can ping the tplinkmodem.net or 192.168.1.1 And if you an use a windows powershell, i think you are not a new one in computer science....

D7 seems to have a new firmware released at 2017/5 and you guys in Australia could download it
