It seems this only affect your wireless connection, how about changing the wireless channel on the router to a fixed number such as 1, 6 or 11 ?

What is connected to the WAN port of the router? If it is an modem router or another router, the port may be blocked by the other router. What is the WAN address of the TL-WR1042ND?
