Hello all.
Please, can somebody help me with this? I have tried to upgrade my RE210 Extender firmware and something went wrong and I bricked my device.
How can I recover its firmware and make my RE210 work again? I turn it on and it just blinks its power led. When I plug it through LAN connector it show an extrange IP: 169.254.205.94
I have seen a solution for routers http://www.tp-link.com/sa/faq-1482.html But is there a similar solution for RE210?

I have tried many times to reset with no luck. I will try to recover by reflashing its firmware through serial port. I will need to solder a bar of pins and communicate with it using a serial port RS232 using putty and other tools.
I disassembled the unit to figure out how to fix it. I suppose JP1 is the entry point for RX TX GND and Power serial communication. As the unit is not working I will try to fix it.
