Just bought a MR200 and it does not allow VPN traffic. Clearly a bug as it allows connection.
Can I get a software patch?

I have a similar problem with a new Archer MR200. It will not allow an L2TP VPN pass through even though this function is enabled in the ALG tab.

I have downloaded the "firmware to solve this issue" mentioned above but when I try to upgrade, I receive the error message:

Error code: 71211
Failed to upload upgrade file. Please select the correct file.

Model: Archer MR200

Hardware Version: MR200(EU) Ver 1.0

Firmware Version: 0.9.1.1.1 v004a.0 Build 160905 Rel.60037n

Did you extract the folder after you download it? What's the current hardware and firmware of your router? Is it an EU version as well?

Yes, I extracted the file after downloading. Hardware and firmware is listed in my post above. Yes it is an EU version.

Your current firmware version 160905 is the latest one already. No need to upgrade again. If it is still not working, maybe you can check the VPN server. Is there any other modem you can try?
Or you can send email to support.uk@tp-link.com and tell them the problem. That will be faster to get help.
