I have a 16 port POE+ network switch and it is power the cctv camera and other wifi devices on my network. Today I buy a TP-Link TL-WA901ND and I connect it directly from access point ethernet port to my POE+ network switch but it not works. The cable length is 150cm long.

If I try power with a adaptor and small poe component which one is comes with a device it is works at that shape but the ap cannot power up on network POE+ switch. Whats the problem at here?

TL-WA901ND is not a standard PoE product, can only be powered by the passive PoE adapter (the one comes with the unit), cannot be powered by a PoE+ switch.
