Hi,
Is anyone experiencing issues with the TD-W9977 where the LED's flash to indicate activity for a short period of time during boot-up and then stays on permanently and don't react to activity once booted.
This was working fine prior to the firmware update which is now currently on 0.1.0 0.9.1 v006f.0 Build 161123 Rel.53386n.
Is there a newer firmware out yet or where can i get the original firmware for this device?
Thank you in advance.

The firmware you have is the latest one. Apart from the LEDs you mentioned, is there any other problems when using the product?

Which LED do you refer to?
When the LED is solid on, can you get internet access from the modem?
You can check the user guide below to know the right status for each LED.

Well after I reverted back to a previous version of firmware (0.1.0 0.9.1 v006f.0 Build 160923 Rel.37935n) which was supplied to me by TP-Link, my Internet led now flashes on activity but not the LAN ports which stay on permanently when connected to a 1Gbps switch.
The LAN ports also flash indicating network activity briefly during the boot process before switching off and then back on permanently when initially powering up the router.
So this clearly contradicts what is stated in the user guide and cannot be used as reference.
Having said that how would you know if the route was connected to a 10/100/1000 port simply by looking at the LED's on the router?
Both the LAN and Internet LED's used to flash on activity, even when connected to a 1Gbps switch or PC lan port when I received the router.
I don’t care much for a speed indication but activity is important to me when using the LED’s for troubleshooting.
