Hi all,

Yes i know that this is unusual to use a modem as a switch but i changed from dsl isp to cable isp and therefore i cannot use the W8970 as a modem but i want to use it as a switch but cannot find the right setting, all i found that works is to use it as a router but i don't want it to be used as a router.

What works so far is set the wan setting to dynamic ip with dhcp enabled and connect the cable modem to the lan4/wan port.
What not works is connect the lan from the cable modem to lan 1 with dhcp disabled, i cannot connect anymore via wifi, i get unable to connect to this network,

I tried to search the internet but with no luck.

I have the TD-WR1024ND V2 connected to lan 1 and dhcp disabled and this works gr8, but i need the 2 for my home network.
