Unable to configure TL-WR740N as repeater

I have TL-WR740N Ver. 2.5, S/N 11875005425, MAC B0487AE8F938, FW Ver.: 3.12.4 Build 100910 Rel.57694n, HW Ver.: WR740N v1/v2 00000000. I would like to use this router as repeater with my existing Huawei E5775 4G pocket router. I have enabled WDS and selected SSID, BSSID by using 'Survey' of my Huawei main router but TL-WR740N is not working as repeater. Could you please suggest the steps to configure TL-WR740N as repeater? Let me know if I need to upgrade TL-WR740N firmware or any other procedure. I have downloaded FW "TL-WR740N(UN)_V5_160715" from TP_LINK website but getting Error code 18005 when tried to upgrade firmware. Kindly advice how to configure this router as repeater.
