Archer D2 5Ghz AC SSID disappears

I've had a quick search but could see anything that had been reported on this previously.
I have an Archer D2 on the latest firmware.
The 5Ghz AC wireless SSID keeps disappearing when there are no devices connected to it.
The only way I can get the SSID to be visible is by going into the router configuration and turning the wireless AC off and back on, or by doing the same using the Tethering App on my android phone.
It has been happening since day one of having the router and I've kept the firmware up to date to see if it is resolved in a FW release.
Any ideas on why this could be happeneing.

I just signed up to get help, and this is my problem I was seeking help for !
Archer D7
Hardware: Archer D7 v1 00000000
Firmware: 0.9.1 1.1 v002d.0 Build 150824 Rel.40904n
24 to 48 hours, 5Ghz vanishes, 2.4Ghz stays active. Router needs a reboot for 5Ghz to reappear.

So far I have not been able to resolve the issue.
I have tried setting the channel to 36 so that the router doesn't auto assign to a different band due to other home routers in the nearby area.
I am in contact with Tech support and going thorugh some options. I'll post back here if it gets fixed/a cause of the fault is found.

Yes but I am not able to find this issue for the D7, but it is the EXACT issue I am having, on the D7, given that the D2 and D7 is still an archer, I am assuming, it is a similar bug, in a similar wireless chipset.
As in the SSID disappears, and does not return, and a reboot is required to get it to return, so it has to be a bug in the SSID section of the Wireless code.
We know both the D2 and D7 use Broadcom (D2 uses AC750, D7 uses AC1750), but some aspects of the source code will be shared across them, so if there is a bug to find, it may very well be a common bug across both models.

How many and what type of devices are you connecting to the router?
Does all your devices fail to see the SSID?

I have 2x devices that connect to 5Ghz.
1x Asus Laptop
1x Nexus 5X
Both devices fail to find the Router when it drops out, and both devices fall back to the 2.4Ghz Network.

After extensive testing I have come to the conclusion that the broadcast power of the 5Ghz wifi is not as stronge as my neighbours router (predominantly BT HomeHub 5).
The SSID disappears from the list due to other SSIDs (not mine) populating the list on my devices, circa 5 or 6 other SSID, including the Archer D2's 2.4Ghz SSID.
In short, the 5ghz wireless is functioning, just not as well as the other brands of routers my neighbours have. :(

Well it is a good thought, but my Archer D7 is the *ONLY* device in the area on 5Ghz (Wifi analyser scan) and it still drops the SSID on 5Ghz.

Did you try finding a free 5Ghz channel and fixing your router on that - instead of keeping it on Auto?
Edit
Any 5Ghz cordless phones, WiFi APs or other WiFi device near by?
