Archer d9 5 ghz wifi and ios

I upgraded my D9 to the latest firmware today and decided to enable 5ghz wifi. All works fine for my Mac, and Mac air but my iOS devices (iPhone 6 iPad 3 and iPad Air ) all fail to connect and get password incorrect message.Have tried all setting options including no security and it still fails.
IOS devices run both IOS 8 & IOS 9
UPDATE: I restored to factory and setup again and it now works. The latest firmware update kept all my settings but may have been corrupt.
