Dead TL-WR841N router. Warranty replacement?

Hi guys. Unfortunately my dear old TL-WR841N died. The only light that comes on is the power led and after that nothing. No reset can be done. It seems completely dead.
Does anyone know what is the standard warranty for this device? I called the retailer that I got it from and told me it is 2 years but he sounded a little unsure. Maybe tried to trick me? The reason that I have doubts is because I see most of TP-Link devices to be covered with a 3-year warranty.
If anyone knows, please help me solve this.
